Logistics Functional Area Management (FAM)
LSInc provides support to NAVSEA, NAVSUP and OPNAV N41 for Logistics Functional Area Management (FAM) functions. This support includes: development of IT system budgets for submission into PBIS-IT; portfolio management; identification, development, and implementation of business performance metrics to evaluate Logistics Defense Business System Investments; review and recommendation of investment certification requests; monitoring and review of Logistics IT applications and systems in DADMS and DITPR-DON; performance of analyses, research, generation of/response to data calls and preparation of briefs in support of the definition, presentation and defense of Logistics and Readiness requirements that include the Logistics Information Technology Executive Committee (IT EXCOMM) and other forums; performance of Business Case Analysis/system health assessments for the reduction of legacy system applications, development and implementation of IT migration plans in support of an enterprise solution; and providing training for stakeholders in the FAM process related to tools and techniques for using relevant government databases such as DADMS, DITPR-DON and ACARTS.
